A big thank you to all of the people who have looked at our website over the last year, we are now reaching hits of over 35000 a month. and to all of you who have visited us here at our home.

We have been keeping poultry for over 35 years now and this last year has been our busiest ever, we started hatching in march and now have a good stock of young birds, its looking as though 2010 is going to be a good year for hatching.

After the theft of a lot of our stock last year we have now narrowed down the breeds that we keep to mainly Araucana's and Yokohama's, which has given me more time to concentrate on the colours of the birds being bred. we now stock a large range of colours in the Araucana. And are producing some really good results. Some of the birds such as the Blue-Reds and the Blues won't be for sale until 2011

We also have some 'variaty colours' these are birds that are not of the standard but are still very stunning, like the black splash and the pied, they may not be standard colours but they are still pure breeds and lay a beautiful blue egg.

The Yokohama's have come on in leaps and bounds, and thanks to another breeder friend of mine we have produced some beautiful birds, I have currently Black-Reds, Silver Duck-wing and Whites, and the news for 2010 is a chocolate Yokohama, but a lot of work is to be done before i start selling them.

We do still keep a few Cochin's and sell a few Hybrids but our main birds will always be the Araucana, as I do have a great passion for these birds.

We have now had all of our birds security tattooed with a unique number that is kept on a database along with the photo of the birds, this is a service that i will be offering soon, we are just building the database, and if these birds are stolen the number and photo will be sent to all of the bird sales across the country. The advantage of the tattoo system is that it can never be removed unlike a leg ring.
