Just a little background info about us. My family consists of Jason, my husband. Paul our 17 year old, Gemma our 7 year old and Archie our 3 year old. We live in Cambridgeshire and have have been blessed with a house that has a huge back garden.

We started looking after chickens here about 5 years ago. Started off with a trio of Araucana and some silkies and our hobby has grown from there.  As a child I had chickens and turkeys in the garden and loved watching them, Jay is a farmers boy and has kept everything from quail to Peacocks. We both have love and pride in what we do aswell as enjoying it. 

Our children have been brought up with our chickens, ducks and quail and love getting involved in all aspects of keeping them. From hatching the eggs, opening up the pens in the mornings, feeding and watering them and holding them. Its a historic thing we do, generations of our family have kept livestock and we don't want to forget how our ancestors enjoyed what we do know, and wouldn't want them growing up any other way.

We have been given a 3 acre field recently and plan to house chickens, geese and ducks there. Selling birds and eggs to people who want to get into bird keeping, or just want to eat.  This has allowed us to buy more birds, house them and keep the pure breeds at there best. Introducing fresh bloodlines and varieties into our ever growing family.
