Lavender Araucana

The most popular colour of the Araucanas being lavender, but there are may other colours to.

These are beautiful birds with strong features, facial muffs and a medium sized pea comb, they have a moderate temperament and will tolerate other breeds as well as their own.

These are one of the first breeds we brought when we started out, and we have never looked back, we now breed various colour forms which you will find on the other pages.

 They are lovely friendly birds and go broody at the drop of a hat.

Their eggs are a light blue colour, slightly smaller than your average egg but they do lay well into the winter months and produce some very cute small grey chicks.
